Objective:
To support, encourage and give financial assistance to
our youth in their pursuit of higher education who are
directly affiliated with the Hui, as members, children or
dependent grandchildren of members in good standing.
We are accepting applications for the Hui O Hawaii of San Diego
Educational Financial Assistance Program.  

Application Deadline:  April 1st

The qualifications for the HUI applicants are:
  • A Hui member (if 18 years or older)* or a dependent
    child/grandchild of a Hui member in good standing.
  • A resident of California.
  • High school graduates entering College/University, Business
    or Technical/Vocational School.
  • College students completing college degrees or students in
    vocational or technical school.
  • An annual application must be submitted to qualify for this
    program.
  • The Educational Financial Assistance Program is limited to
    four years per recipient.
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher.

*Student membership: $12.00 per year.
